Ok, I fully understand the desire for an adrenaline rush...but ski-parachuting off of a 14,000 foot peak? I wish Victor all the best in his recovery.
This story hits home for me. I will be attempting to ascend Quandary Peak this Friday for a "sunrise-summit". Each year, I attempt to summit one of Colorado's 14ers to watch the sun rise as a way to celebrate the new year. Let's hope I don't end up posting a news story about my own rescue : 0
